Social responsibility is aimed very effectively at the communities in which the individual lodge is located. For instance, Namibia Country Lodges provides tourism development support to a conservancy near Epupa, as well as supporting the community at Solitaire.
This commitment is best illustrated with the example of a call for blankets for the needy. Contributions from Namibia Country Lodges, and the suppliers and associates which it requested for help exceeded the total for the rest of Namibia.
