* During the dry season, Palmwag Lodge can be reached in a small 2 X 4 sedan. * Although Palmwag Lodge lies in an arid area, rain in other parts of the country can cause rivers to flow. All other roads are gravel roads. Permits must be acquired at the gate, and a certain amount of water must be carried in the vehicle before entry is permitted.
