Shower facilities will be provided for guests at the Lodge. * The tree house offers a choice of a dinner pack taken along to the tree house, or having dinner at the todge. This must be booked in advance with the lodge. * Winter time (April – end August) – leave for the tree house @ 15H00 with a dinner pack or have dinner at the Lodge at 19H00 and leave after dinner with the night drive. * Summer time (September – end March) – leave for the tree house @ 16H00 with a dinner pack or have dinner at the @ 20H00 and leave after dinner with the night drive. * Guests will be collected from the tree house in the morning, at a time discussed with them, for breakfast at the lodge. Note: * The tree house is closed every year during the rainy season from 1 November until 30 April. * No children at the tree house 7 sites consisting of: * 6 sites accommodate 8 campers each * 1 site for groups that accommodates 8 tents For the 6 sites, each can accommodate 8 campers * Each site has a flush toilet, basin, tab and a braai area * For all 6 sites there are communal hot showers – 3 for ladies and 3 for men * For all 6 sites there is a central washing up area For the 1 site for groups and can accommodate 8 tents. * 3 separate flushed toilets * 3 separate hot showers * A braai area and a table The overall campsite has * A waterhole where animals can be observed * A camp attendant to collect money and issue receipts. As the campsite is about 45 minutes' drive from the lodge. Campers do not have to report to the Lodge. * No electricity. * The campsite turn-off is approximately 100m from the Otjovasando turn off on the western side of the road and 1,5 km off the main road. * Campers can participate in lodge activities, subject to booking before arrival and availability. * Self catering: tents and bedding must be provided Hobatere Lodge has a double story, thatched central complex Lower level * Dining area with individual tables * Bar * Curio Shop Upper level * Lounge with a small library Outside tables are positioned within a garden consisting of indigenious plants and succulent rockeries. A game viewing deck overlooking a floodlit waterhole is linked by a wooden walkway to the swimming pool area.
