Environmental Responsibility
The Stiltz is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and in recognition of this received 3rd prize in Namibia's 2007 Energy Efficiency Competition.

The Stiltz supports the Ondesa Youth Fund for Children with Terminal Illnesses in various ways .

* The Stiltz can be reached in a small 2 X 4 sedan.
* Although Swakopmund lies in an arid area, rain in other parts of the country can cause rivers to flow. The onset of the flow is very rapid.
* As a large part of the journey may takes place on gravel roads, consultants should switch to a 4x4 vehicle during the rainy season (October to April) if gravel roads are used.

Cancellation policy
All cancellations will be reconfirmed in writing, non-receipt of a cancellation confirmation means that the reservation has not been cancelled.
* 31 + days prior to arrival: 10% of the deposit amount
* 30 – 22 days prior to arrival: 25% of invoiced amount
* 21 – 16 days prior to arrival: 50% of invoiced amount
* 15 - 8 days prior to arrival: 75% of invoiced amount
* 7 days and less prior to arrival: 100%of invoiced amount
Note: If a 25% deposit was paid and the booking is cancelled 31+ days prior of arrival a 10% bank / administration fee is deducted from the refund.

* Children of all ages are welcome, however they remain the full responsibility of their parents.
* Please be aware that the walkways are between 2.5 & 3 meters above the ground.
* For the family unit and the Villa room rates apply for children as well
* Children under 12 years will only be accepted in a bungalow if the family unit and the Villa are fully booked. For a discounted rate a mattress is placed in the bungalow.
* Should a child under 12 years of age share a bungalow with one adult a 50% discount of rack rate is applicaple for the child only.
