Unlike other popular climbing sites in Namibia, Etusis has very good quality red quart, and is ideal for experienced climbers. For rock climbers there is a Mountain Hut consiting of: * 5 minute walk from rock climbing face * Overlooking rock pools where game may come to drink * Accommodates a max of 4 people (2 single beds & 2 stretchers) * Bathroom with cold water shower & toilet * BBQ (braai) facilities * Solar Energy (12 Volt) * On request meals are supplied by the lodge. The main goal of the foundation is to protect the Hartmann's Mountain Zebra especially in farming areas or regions used by tourism. In order to achieve this the foundation assists and provides: * information to farmers, * helps to establish reserves, * co-operates with Zoological Gardens, Universities and other organisations whose goals are similar, * rearing & rehabilitation of deserted foals for reintroduction into the wild, * education of children as well as the public and state institutions. * ongoing research into balanced diets for raising deserted foals.
