Environmental Responsibility
Bagatelle is the custodian of four cheetahs under the auspices of the Cheetah Conservation Fund. Due to their individaul histories, it is impossible for any of these captive animals ever to be released and to survive in the wild, so Bagatelle cares for them in order to guarantee them the best possible quality of life. Their enclosures and facilities have been built to exceed all current regulations set by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

* During the dry season Bagatelle can be reached in a small 2 X 4 sedan.
* Although Bagatelle lies in an arid area, summer rains can cause sudden flooding in areas.
* As a large part of the journey takes place on gravel roads, consultants should switch to a 4x4 vehicle during the rainy season (October to April).

Cancellation policy
All cancellations will be reconfirmed in writing. Non-receipt of a cancellation confirmation means that the reservation has not been cancelled.
* 31 + days prior to arrival: 10% of the deposit amount
* 30 – 22 days prior to arrival: 25% of invoiced amount
* 21 – 16 days prior to arrival: 50% of invoiced amount
* 15 - 8 days prior to arrival: 75% of invoiced amount
* 7 days and less prior to arrival: 100%of invoiced amount
Note: If a 25% deposit was paid and the booking is cancelled 31+ days prior of arrival, a 10% bank / administration fee is deducted from the refund.

* Children of all ages are welcome, however remain the full responsibility of their parents
* Children under the age of 12 sharing with parents are only accommodated in the 'Strohbale' chalets
* Children aged 3 and below are free of charge providing they share with their parent(s)
* Children between the ages of 4 & 12 are charged 45% of rack rates, providing they share with their parents
* Children under the age of 12 requiring their own chalet or room will be charged full adult rates.
